Make sure if you'd like a chance to sit shotgun beside Victor or Ben Bray during their Burnouts on Saturday night that you email in 20 words or less why you'd be the best judge for this competition...

Good Luck Everyone!! bvgkyt

is this event still on. ??
as usual no advertising for jo average to adjust rosters at work again.
Same as historic event last year at symons plains, car people know about it.
thats all.
and can i assume it will clash with speedway, circuit or drags again?.

Yep still on.

As for advertising heard it advertised on the radio what felt like 1000 times yesterday (mind you we did six+ hours of driving to go and pick up a hatch). But it was on both stations we listened to every half hour or so.

Did think they could have made there next event on here sign a bit bigger out on the roadside at Symons Plains.

Clash wise I think there is a car show on in Devonport that day, there's no drags on over those dates, not sure on any other events.

Well our 1st Tassie powercruise has finally finished. What a time i had. Just had a ball. I must congradulate GUP for bringing Powercruise to Tasmania and what a show he did. To all of his staff they were just so great. i have never been to a event like this that staff are so friendly and willing to help. Always talked to you. And NIKKI for teasing me about my CURLS. These are the sort of events i like where you can use your car for what its built for. All my mates just thought it was awsome too. There is so much talk about how other people are going to enter for next year. We already have a guy that is so keen he is building up a new motor with heaps more power just to go to Powercruise. Gup put on a awsome display as well as UCSMOKE and MENTLE. And i musnt forget Victor and Ben Bray. Everyone is looking forward to next year. I was fortunate enough to take home a few trophies and cash.

Cheers PROXT

Well I'll be blowed surprised anyone picked that as a fav out of all that were out there but each to their own.

It's a turbo, I believe they blew her up out there and it is for sale.

From that pic, it just really suits my tastes... No flares, big wheels, and now that you mention that its a turbo, I like it even more :D

the yellow ones mine!!
And yeah it is a turbo and an slr, turbo'd and injected 186, didnt blow it up thankfully, split a fitting on one of the braided lines going to the oil accumulator and pumped oil all over the coil packs ( and lots on the ground) ,
oil on coils caused the spark to ark around and give me a really nice miss so that and pools of oil under it my first thoughts were really bad but all is good and nearly fixed now

thanks for the comment tim

cheers

Hiya there turboslr I happened to walk past your garage just as you were saving something along the lines of well that's it then she's f><D and saw a fair bit of liquid pooling under her. No offence that she's not my fav unlike Tim the big wheels aren't my thing but that said I do understand with the tyre situation why people put them on (that and my fav spot is taken by NOS LX the blue beast). I see a post from you on tas performance today too you better head over to TTO for a look (www.tastoranaowners.com) if you haven't all ready the forum link is att he top of main screen. :spoton:

Yeah it was definatley my first thoughts that it was really bad after it started missing and then pumped oil out of it every where, was thinking i maybe punched a rod out of it, but had a look when it was up on the trailer and found a split fitting on the oil line, clean'd all the oil off the coil packs when i got it home and the miss is gone too!! just lucky it didn't do it coming down the back straight or it could have been a lot worse

No offence taken about the comment, every one likes there own thing, personally i hate any rims under 18's which is why i have the 19's on it, i guess i like being a bit different

cheers all

Good to hear damage wasn;t as bad as you first thought. Some of the others weren't so lucky. Quite a few did some damage think there will be a few $$ in repairs for some.

Just went through my pics to see if I had any others of her and found a couple (I think the one above in the off street racing coming out from under the bridge v the Skyline is one of mine? Or very similar anyway) so I only had one more.....

19's that really is huge. I'm with you on it not hurting to be different take a look at my LH LOL she takes the cake in the different stakes. Guess seeing them with the big wheels just takes some getting used to. The one in this pic is one we saw on a run I didn't like it at the time but looking at it in pics it has grown on me.
