Marty, something caught my attention in the photo of your interior. The handbrake cover has a "collar" at the end which looks like it is stitched vinyl. Is this correct for 73 interior as mine has a separate rubber ring slid over the handbrake cover, which had me thinking it was a factory original thing?

C'mon Marty, that's a bit sloppy and not up to your usual standards. You're probably on a quest now to track down one of these and correct this issue already. I actually looked for this myself when I saw the photo but only because I was once asked about where I got mine from and didn't know what the guy was going on about, it had just always been there.

Atleast your headlight wiring harness plugs are sorted, I bet that not many others are :-)

Aaaah yes, the rubber bit.  That was the best my trimmer could do with what I paid him.

Haven't seen anyone replicate this part yet.

So Mustard GTR (Alek) yours is correct and mine a dodgy copy.  At least I tried to make it look correct.  ;-)

James, my headlight plugs look mint.

That's good to hear Marty.
