Hey guys Im about to start unpicking spot welds to remove the front quarters and nose as in piece in my LC.

I just wanted to know what would be the best way to unpick welds along the a-pillars?

Thanks 😊

Hi Lee, I'm guessing a 1 mm cut off wheel mate. There has been a few threads on this in the past though, so a search should give you more of an idea possibly. Gary.

It's just a bolt with the 2 nuts from a burnt out angle grinder. 1mm cutting disc as mentioned above. I found I couldn't get the angle grinder in there?

Personally i would not be cutting the door hinge at all, unless it was the very last resort. Have a look for smaller cutting tools like mini grinders & dremels 1st. Even unpick the front gaurds roughly where they join the inner going to the a pillar if they're being replaced & not reused. It's only your time & you'll save time & hassles down the track. Gary

All good. I don't have any intentions on cutting the hinges as mine are in great nick 😊

Sorry Antz85 the previous owner of mine couldn't get the door pins out so he resorted to the angle grinder.
