So perhaps early in 74 it was a decal? Later models got the slip on sleeve?

I think there is another thread on the subject in here somewhere Brad. Maybe the sleeve was on the "big" Holdens? Definitely a sticker on early LH. (Up to at least August 74)

I think the new sunvisors probably had a film of newness that made it come off easy at first.
The Sue Ransom test drive from above was televised April 74.

I see I mentioned it in this thread:
LUK-350. Car 8 of the LH Press test fleet, assigned to Victorian Press Fleet. PSN J416798, should have been completed around 18th February 1974.
LH SL in Sable metallic with Ash Vinyl bucket seats. Optioned with L20, M40, A22 (laminated screen), U63 (pushbutton radio), U80 (rear speaker), QBN tyres. That is off the Sunvisor slip that goes with the car when the Press took it. It also shows the car with a 2.78 rear axle.
The Press Test Fleet "list" shows it with QRB 175SR13 radials though which were the standard SLR and SS tyres. QBN is a B78H13 tyre which was optional on non-4cyl models and the minimum specification for an SL with 4.2 (with single exhaust). The base SL tyre was QBM which was a B78L13. I suspect the sunvisor slip is correct.

How were you able to retrieve the options data for that vehicle?

From the Press test fleet list and the sunvisor slip which lists all the option data for that vehicle.

I have had some of blue decals reproduced, which car's should actually have them please guy's ? They where colour matched & copied from an original. I had forgot that i even had them.
The clean air decals were fitted to LJ 6cyl (excl XU1) & HQ 6 & 8cyl vehicles when volume fittment of ADR 27 compliant components commenced on and from the 1/10/1973.

What quote??
Might just be supplier related causing the colour variation? GMH didn’t actually make much, most was outsourced.
Both of those are aftermarket Byron. I believe the colour and font of the bottom one is correct, but the wording needs clarification. The bottom one says "emmission" rather than "transmission", the bottom one has American spelling for carburettor, the bottom one has "till" instead of "until", a full stop after the word "adjustment" rather than a comma, and it says "300KM" and not "3000KM".

I need to remember that is what happens when I put up pictures with "sensitive" descriptions. (This isn't one of them.)

My first LJ was a late 1973 and had that sticker on the passenger visor. I still have the visor buried in a box, not sure if this is any help, time has not been kind to it. I can try and take a photo in natural light and see if it's any more readable.

You would think those stickers would have been protected up on top of the visor.

Yeah when I had that car 20 odd years ago it was in much better condition, but not perfect. Seems to have deteriorated over the years while in storage, sitting in boxes in a hot garage probably.
I have an original set of LC sun-visors (in vinyl of course) that are in perfect condition. The energy absorbing foam didn't last the test of time, but complied with ADR27!

Steve, the emission controls were ADR 27, the energy absorbing foam sunvisors were ADR 11.

Looking at the Pontiac version of this sticker, I would say that out of the two I posted, the top one is more correct. It was from Grafix Unlimited.

The sticker I got from HQ Restos ended up adhering quite well overnight.
When you say HQ Resto's Howard, do you mean Resto Country? (What was Kingswood Country)
