I hadn't seen one of these before but guess they are common in USA trucks

Don't know how physically large it is but 8L would be handy

They're basically an updated big block chev so fitment would be pretty similar. I fact the mounts etc are the same.

Yes, it’s a BBC.

But not preferred for performance work as there isn’t much aftermarket stuff to suit. Most of the good BBC stuff that’s price friendly is to suit Mark 4 engines.

 

Or you go nuts with aftermarket everything.....

I guess 8 litres might perform ok rock stock in any vehicle under 3 tonnes
