Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me out?

I will be fitting a Mal Wood hydraulic clutch pedal to my LX Torana.

I'm wondering if anyone who has done the conversion has any photos of the location of where the hose from the clutch pedal master comes out of the firewall to be connected to the fluid reservoir?

Thanks in advance all,

George

Once it's installed, I would double check that the pedal has enough travel before buttoning everything up around it.

My pedal was bottoming out on the floor of the car before the master cylinder had been depressed enough. I had to cut and shut the pedal to fix it (after the engine and gearbox came out TWICE chasing the issue of not being able to release the clutch).

I have been googling slave cylinder to clutch clearance as mine grabs close to the floor and one day when i have the engine and gearbox out i will measure it

I think if i shimmed the slave cylinder a little it would grab later, could be related to clutch not disengaging

Mine too, common problem with the conversion, you would think the would do this fix.

Yeah thanks guys. Good to know.

I've heard so much about this set up that it's done my head in!

Some people have no issues at all whereas others sound like they have heaps of issues.

Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated.
