My XU-1 is in a shed on the property and I haven't looked at it for a few years. I recently bought a WRX so I suppose the Torana is dead because the Subaru is a million times better to drive.

Seriously people need to forget about these old pieces of junk. For instance a five year old rex or XR6 Turbo is a far better car than any old 70s rust bucket.

Most of the modern cars we drive these days all look the same ,even the colours are the same ,although comfortable and reliable,they lack one thing . Soul.

Not all modern stuff lacks style and individuality. The modern Camaro and Challengers are nice looking cars and will be a far cry in driveability, comfort and safety than any of the old stuff people desire. I’m putting power rack steering (Rodtech IFS), aircon, serpentine drive setup, Holley Sniper EFI and spark, AUII onwards front brakes, V2 CV8 front seats and Eaton Trutrack into my old HK GTS which will make it a far better car to drive. But it will still be an old car, with wind noise, no ABS, no adjustable column, no airbags, no cruise control, 1:1 top gear etc. Sure it will look nice but will still be a pig compared to a V2 CV8. At least the seats will be comfortable.

Don't get me wrong! more safer.comfort and reliable ,for sure and a few have good design.The modern Camaros and Challengers hark back to the design of the originals, that's why they look good.Hmmmm no thanks Laurie.
