Commodore stud pattern vs HQ stud pattern

Hi Guys - looking to upgrade the brake package and was thinking about using commodore disks but I have HQ GTS rims - I heard different things, some say bolt straight on, some say require some offset drilling, some say commodore wheel nuts will do the trick.

Can someone please clarify it for me....

The stud patterns are slightly different, Which means if you put HQ rims on Commo pattern, you will put stress on the wheel studs... Stress on the wheel studs cos cause them to brake and your wheels fall off...

Offsets are also normally very different as well...

Its advised not to run HQ on Commo, or Commo on HQ. Sure people do, but its a pretty dangerous thing to risk.

If you want to get commo discs on the front, order blank rotors and get HQ stud pattern drilled into them so you can still run the GTS wheels!

HQ pattern is 5x4.75", Commodore is 5x120mm. If you do the math, that's not the same and put simply: don't do it! Plenty of options to get what you want as MRLXSS says.
