Heathcote Drag Day - Sun 28th Feb 2016

Grant, Keith ended up with a 14.3 in his EH, but the car will see 13's for sure. It's got the full Commodore driveline - SV6, T700. He forgot to press the 'Power' button, so it wasn't shifting the best. He only did 3 or 4 runs, and was also getting the feel back for racing.

He's also proven in the past that the rear muffler costs 10rwkw, so next time will drop that. On top of that, he's not even getting full throttle. So plenty to play with.

As Daz said, lots of cool Toranas were there. I'll see if the missus took any photos and post some up if so. Overall though, perfect numbers in attendance. Not too busy to cause long waits, and not too quiet to make it boring for spectators.

Yeah - it's been ages. my free time is taken up working on the house. Doing big renovations that is sucking my time and wallet dry! Haven't had the Torana out in over a year now!

 

My daily is an LSA R8 Clubsport now though... So that is kinda helping scratch that itch.

The orange four door is from the forum also.

Any idea on his times?

I think the Orange 4 door was running between 11.5-11.7's from memory.
