Hey guys just ordering bits for the Torrie, now I'm staying with the standard interior colour but I can never seem to find Tan on Rares etc, but I do find mid brown, is this a different colour or are they talking about Tan?

Also, black dashes, the Heater controls and radio/choke panels, were they just smooth black or were they grained like the rest of the dash?

Hi Ben,

This is a pic of my seats and you can see the carpet colour as well.

This is 67V in an SS hatch. I haven't really looked at Rares for carpet or trim but Knox Carpets did send me four samples of various browns, one of which was called Saddle, (I think this might be a F@rd colour though) but it is the closest match to mine but not perfect. You probably couldn't tell unless they were side-by-side.

I've had Cools Auto trim recommended as the place to get vinyl from and when I rang them they said it's best to redo the entire interior so that it all matches as the old stuff does fade over the years.

Hope that is of some help.

Cheers,

Liz :)

Great info.

I have an SL in 67v, however it has been retrimmed in the 90s to a grey velour and all dash and console plastics sprayed grey. What colour should it all be?

Hi Electra,

I think (but not 100% sure) that the dash would be black regardless of the trim code. Maybe SL is different to my SS though so hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. There's heaps of info on these forum pages so you should be able to find plenty of stuff relevant to your car. Best of luck with the info search.

Cheers,

Liz :)

Not all dashes are black. Have a dig through here. http://www.gmh-toran...im-codes/page-4
