Just noticed on fake book an A9X sedan at Lloyds auctions sold for $365,000.00 it looks like the values of my cars just when up again. We are starting to live in crazy times.

You'll only have to wait awhile and it will all level out or dive, bit like the share market
AND the price for that car which allegedly did not have he original motor in it for me was well over priced
Some will say that will make the price of my SS go up but not when it is NOT FOR SALE

Wrong motor, wrong paint, wrong flares. It has gone to the Gosford Museum I believe.

The "top" code seems silent on it.

I went and had a look at this on Wednesday. Not sure about the chrome strip, must be factory I guess but the car's been resprayed the wrong colour on the bottom. Rough paint job and it looks like it had a coat in the engine bay as well, tags painted over, strange VIN tag stamped from the top. Has Statesman badges put where the "S" would normally go. All superficial things I suppose but it's not for me.
The most interesting thing was how unprofessional the Lloyds staff were. The 20-something boy who spoke to me while shoving handfuls of chips in his mouth and who didn't know what a T-bar auto was..he asked me if it was manual?! Worth going there just for that insight I reckon.
Cheers,
Liz

Interesting the auctioneer mentioned the owners were Monaro and Torana fans yet only one Torana and two Monaros were auctioned off.
Possibly another auction coming in the future?
