Pick up is 3/4" pipe as said, and I just welded a stock pickup head to it.

Do you think the additional windage tray you added to the sump is required seeing you have the falcon one mounted to the engine?

Running guide plates as the square shouldered push rod holes were drilled out larger to aid drain back.
Using an MLS head gasket.

Cam drilled and tapped for bolt to stop the gear going walkies.

I have to make mention of the paint job. I wouldn't say it is a pet hate of mine if not done, but I do appreciate the extra effort done to paint a motor prior to final assembly so that mating surfaces and gaskets, etc don't get coated in paint. A shout out to your engine painter!

To be honest I haven't put that much thought into goals at the strip. It will see more street use and just occasional strip use for the fun of it.

It does look nicer that way. You’d lose Concours points though if it was painted that way though!

Looking great mate. Keen to hear how it goes on the dyno. Please post the results. You will love the 2 inch SUs by the way, they're outstanding on a 9 port.
