Currently repairing/repainting an LH sedan for someone and when I removed the diff I noticed one of the lower control arms was installed wrong way round because the sway bar holes were towards the front of the car, easy fix. My question however is with the upper arms. Did GMH make 1 universal arm to fit left or right hand side. Been so long since my last torana I cant remember, that or age is showing more lol Correct me if I'm wrong but my final conclusion was they are universal because the front bushing is offset in the arm which would keep them true when mounted. Would just like to clarify this incase I am wrong, then I can notify the owner to organize replacement etc

Cheers in advance for any help

Hey Johnno do you mean upper or lower arms or both, measured at chassis end of arms, diff end or middle of arms. I can take some measurements for you from chassis and diff (has had 9" fitted) but vehicle has had as many hits as elvis so I'd hate to give you measurements that turned out to be a few mm incorrect. However I cannot find any body damage forward of the diff its all been behind so it may be correct. Let me know if you're interested or you specifically need between arms themselves on vehicle
