Scrape out the peen marks...………………………..did this during my apprenticeship.

Don't expect to get them out and be able re-use them. Always install new valves.

Are the old glass bowl pumps worth anything? I have a bunch I found in the workshop.

I do Gene, am i to assume that you have some ? Gmh or something similar.

By the time you put a lot of work in restoring them, they have to be complete, including the brass fittings & reasonably cheap. I try to restore them as good as possible & like new, so that's a fair amount of time in them.

No Gary i just buy the aftermarket rebuild kits but i dont do them anymore not worth it
