Hi, just wondering if my WB steering wheel has the same spline and will fit on my lx column.  Just want to use it if I can to move the car around but don't want to stuff up the column.  Cheers Ron

Should be the same. I used a WB column to convert my LX hatchback steering column to a combination switch and give it hazard lights. Straight bolt on. Steering wheels are too

Cool thanks.  I just thought with WB nearing the intro of metric items that there may have been some variances.  Cheers Ron

All steering wheels from HQ to WB, LJ to TA Torana & VB to VL Commodore will interchange. The spline & horn contact are all the same.

Having said that the blinker cancelling ring is different, so make sure you use the correct one for your car.

Keep this ring with you LX wheel to fit the WB column.

I found this out years ago when I fitted a power steering box to an HQ. This ring is different for power steer.

Thanks for that.  I should have provided a bit more detail.  The WB steering wheel came off my WB ute and is not roadworthy so I got a replacement for it.

I have a new wheel for the Torana but don't want to put it on yet.  So the WB wheel will simply be bolted on to allow me to move the car around when required.  Cheers Ron
