Hi all, I'd like to put the original dealer stencil back on the underside of my bonnet ,I'm pretty sure it said Manley Stanwells Motors Torana ,Chevrolet ,Albany.Has anyone successfully made up a dealer stencil? Pic taken from this site for reference .Ta Paul.

But the LC in the first post is stencilled Hawkesbury Valley Motors, Windsor.

Have I read that incorrectly ?

Funny...I always thought that the dealer was taking a huge liberty in spraying that sort of mess on someone's new car.
However, as a historic type artifact, yes, it adds effect.
Dr T - thinking that was just an example of a typical stencil?

You can trace that Datto, and make a stencil with a scalpel or hobby knife and some thin cardboard.

You can still buy the stencils Paul. If you look around, there are a few different sizes available.

A mate of mine in Boyup who collects Holden trinkets has a Manley Stanwell (Albany) window decal I think.

If you head up tomorrow you will see him at the annual little car show we put on there.

Hi Laurie , a mate of mine had an original dealer back window sticker he wouldn’t sell but he let me do some copies of that original,so I have those, I must get across at some point and have a look at that garage Laurie, looks awesome.

Reminds me of aatching number xb gt i got offered for 17k, only it was brown, it was repainted by a rough painter, so i thought it was to much drama, should have just bought it as well, although i prefer the xa to the xb.
