Fabricate a bracket that bolts to the bumper bar mounting points.
Here's a pic of one my mate constructed and has been used on a number of cars.

Easiest way to build these is to use two engine stands - one for front, and one for rear.
Fabricate a bracket that bolts to the bumper bar mounting points.
Here's a pic of one my mate constructed and has been used on a number of cars.
You should add some height adjustable plates to adjust the balance point.
This will make it easy to turn over.
Looks like the plate in this pic

He made it tall enough to flip her right round on and we have since made one for a friends four door off the same plans.
If you do want anymore details feel free to PM me hubby has measurements and diagram stashed somewhere so I can get more info off him. I'll be offline for acouple of weeks though so might take me abit to get back to you.

Bullcrap Don, who really made it?Mort your post got me thinking I should really have a go at knocking up a rotissarie so I got out the hacksaw and soldering iron and slapped this baby together before dinner the other night, as you can see from the photo I haven't got the wheels on it yet cause dinner was ready but I'll whack em on soon.

I Took me a day & Half to make and 4 day thinking how to make it, I hadn't seen any close up before so I had it all in my head, when I striped the hatck all out I got a mate with a hiab truck and liffted the hatch with rotissorie attached onto the tray and transported to the bead blaster. It cost me about $350.00 in steel plus a few left over bits hanging around the workshop. I got $400.00 for it on e-bay, sold it to cheep. but thats e-bay

He just wanted a stationary stand to lift the car 600mm off the deck so it could be sandblasted...but I reckon he needs a rotisserie so i can borrow it when he's done.

Use the search function for more. After having built one, buying two engine stands is a complete waste of money, you can buy all your steel for the price of one engine stand, then you only use the engine stands to get your angles anyways.
