It covered Ian's association with Harry Firth from his early years as the local kid pest
hanging around the garage door through his HDT days and beyond.
It also went into aspects of XU-1 engine preparation for Historic Group Nc showing
bottom end main girdle arrangements, sump baffling and oil control techniques.
Well worth a look.
I think the program will be repeated on Channel 31 on
Thurs 26 Feb 4.00 PM
Fri. 27 Feb 2.00 PM
Sat. 28 Feb 1.00 PM
Cheers JR

I could watch those fabricators all day.
A majority of this week's episode of Gasolene ( Community Channel 31 ) involves Ian Tate, Eddy Woods and others tuning a 202 red motor with tripple Webers on an engine dyno. Very interesting Tate commentary.
Program is repeated at 6.30 Pm Saturday Nov. 6 or watch it on the Gasolene website.
well worth a look.

Craig, as of May this year TVS is also on digital channel 44. You won't see it on a set top box unless you re-scan the channels. Its an analogue channel, not digital.

Can't see a link on youtube to Ian Tate tuning the 202 on the dyno. I'm very interested in what he says. Can anyone post up a link to the vid?
Cheers.

Will be keen to see what else Gasolene shows on future episodes. I really loved the Longford Revival a few weeks ago - now that would be a cool weekend away.

Very jealous of you guys as I watched and listened to Eddie.
Such amazing knowledge, experience and passion for both 6 & 8 Holden red motors.
