LOL. I have been considering posting this same question for the last few days.
I've had to solder one of my brake light wires to the back of the crimped terminal as the wire had broken at the crimp.
So far this is what I've found...
These are the numbers on the original plugs in my car:
Brake/tail P#8905101, Indicator P#2823808
I've looked through a Jaylec catalogue (a couple years old now) and found these that look similar:
P#3444P - Stop/tail or flasher (3 wire, base BAY15d, GM-8909517)
P#3439P - Stop/tail (3 wire, base BAY15d, GM-8903203/9814823)
P#3492 - Bach up/Reverse (2 wire, base BAY15s, GM (76-87)-12003878/8904251

I'm thinking the first one looks best for all 4 replacements, but the numbers I have obviously don't match up.
Anyone know anything definate, or have another souce?
Dr Terry? I'm hoping you'll shed some light here??? You seem to be the electrical Guru.
Thanks in advance.

That would be much appreciated mate. I don't have an on line pic for you, sorry (like I said, got the numbers from a couple year old catalogue). If you could get them it might save me a drive through town.

Apparently they're not the same as HQ.

I find that suprising. I thought even 90s Commodores used the things!

I got some "Britax" part # 3444P plugs for the brake/tail lights. These are the right ones.

I also tried some 3439P (brake/tail) plugs which fit but are a light grey colour and look a bit different.

The 3492P (indicator) look very similar to the 3439P plugs but do not fit Torana's.

I suspect the last 2 are for early Commodes.

So I'm still looking into finding the right indicator plugs. I'll have a look through the Britax catalogue soon and see what I can come up with.

For guys in WA I bought some of these today, was the 3444P ones for the Brake/park lights. was $7.50 from Alanco in Welshpool.

so the 3439P deffinatly dont fit in the indicator holes? Could you just use some 3444P and not use 1 wire?

No, different bulb bayonettes. (BAY15s and Bay15d)
Unless you wanted to put a twin fillament bulb in and just use one of them as the indicator???
