Top Gear Australia urgently need to purchase a registeredmanual pre-1975 Holden HQ Kingwood for an upcoming shoot

Their budget is $4,000 and the HQ should be located(or deliverable to) Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.
Contact George Lykouras Production Coordinator Top Gear Australia on 02 85145417 or [email protected]
.

Please feel free to forward this email to HQ enthusiasts you know inthese areas or those that might like to see the episode.

My apologies for bothering clubs located outside of these areas (orcatering to Holden models outside of the HQ range).

Top Gear will let us know when the HQ Holden episode is due to air.

Yep

Maybe Im turning grumpy...

But why pointlessly damage two excellent old-school Ozzie rockets...

As much as I like the Qs.XA XB would be welcome in my garage any time.

I watched the episode.

I think I understand what they were trying to do by having some classic old school Aussie cars in a story, however I think it was quite hypocritical. To portray yourself as an Aussie Car show, and have a "tru blu" Aussie car story, with RARE cars in GOOD condition, and proceed to damage them all in the name of TV ratings, is really POOR!

Top Gear Australia, YOU SUCK!

I agree - was a bit sad at how casually they drove into each others car, but very much Top Gears style. I guess thats how the Marina owners feel in the UK every time they smash one of the UK show

As a British Leyland AND Holden fan (yes, truly!), I can confidently say that the Morris / Leyland Marina can be likened in Australia to the Holden Camira. Both well known in their home country, but both very expendable!

The HQ Kingswood is a VERY different story! An Aussie icon you could say.
VERY different story!

*shakes his head*....

+1 its a waste to bang up a classic car. A rough shitbox VN and EA would of been fine thou.
