Whats the difference - LH LX Bonnet cables

Hi guys

does anyone have any photos or can tell me what the difference between LH and LX bonnet cables are?

i would of presummed naturally they are the same but they are both different part numbers so thought id ask

Maybe different symbols on the knob?

they would be the same, like 76lxhatch said more than likley only the symbol on the knob would/might be different other than that everything is located in the same spot on both the LH/LX. well not everything but sh*t like that is anyway Posted Image

Does LH & early LX a round knob.

Late LX have a T type knob

I could be wrong

The parts manual shows a round knob on both the LH and LX. My hatch had a t-handle like the one in this picture.

round for early, t handle for later cars. It came in around the same time as AD27a

LX Parts Cattledog No. M37758 effective March 1976 has round knob with symbol of car with bonnet "open" on it.

Cable Assembly Group 8.075 .... Part No.9929563 Right Hand Drive

Should imagine LH cable assembly would be the same but maybe different knob

the lh torana has a cable like a HQ and the late lx has a cable like a HZ.
