Hi all
Ive got a few pics of Brockies previous cars for you all to enjoy.

Check the sway bar on the a9x and the rear suspension, and the sump oil temp probe. Plus rear trailing arms not boxed.

Also got a video of some of his cars doing laps, but not the best filming :D

cheers julian

Is the 1975 car a replica or the real thing ? I didn't know it existed still.

Replica. Had a long chat with the owners at Muscle Car Masters. It is a real LH SL/R 5000 though, couldn't get under the bonnet to verify if it had the other magic numbers. Owners confirmed that real car was destroyed in Targa Tasmania, repaired, and then destroyed in another tarmac rally somewhere (exact details escape me).

Awesome pics and video. People are so inconsiderate when you're just trying to get a decent shot or some footage, i can hear the "come on buddy don't get in the way', I've been in that position too many times.

Anyway, you seemed to get some pretty vacant shots despite the huge crowd so nice work, I love the pics of the A9X in the museum. Cheers!

just thought i would add that wendy gown is still my mechanics landlord,

he has rented the old the gown-hinduagh race workshop for 13 years

and i met norm gown there many times ,

everytime he parked his brown opel monza next to my hatch, he would say " we used to race these , when are you putting the flares on ? "

very nice bloke, loved hearing his stories about the old days!

I have spoken to a fellow who says he and Brock went searching for the 75 car and had found it. Probably this car you are talking about.
The rear end has been burnt apparently.
It may show up for a restoration if the current owner can be persuaded to part with it. Certainly hope so.
