from NSW to attend your drag day!!!!

Why not, there is plenty of accomodation in bendigo, and its reasonably cheap. Last year we had a great barby, chin wag and a nice cold drink together...

keith: *IF* i'm able to go down, then a convoy it would be! We did find some excellent accomodation in bendigo, but as yet i've not made any enquiries.

I think the BBQ and yack was one of the highlights of the day! Was heaps of fun just sitting around having a couple of brews and talking torries!

Keith, If you miss this drag day you'll kick yourself mate, It's such an awesome day! I just cant commit at this stage because of the USA trip!

SS Hatch:
Heathcote park os about 1/5-2 hours north of melbourne CBD ( which is pretty well where the big red ferry docks!). It's an easy drive once you know the way, and i'm sure threre will be a convoy of GMH-T people coming up for the day!

There is great accomodation in bendigo not too far from the track, and that is at around $110-$130 a night from memory!

It would be awesome to see some tassie guys come up for a run! Along with the Sydney contingeant who hopefully will come down this time!

I think last time i just got a standard room and it cost me $89 for the night for 2....

And to get a few sydney guys down would be fantastic as well!

If someone from Tassie wants to drive back to Melbourne from Heathcote and sleep there, they can crash at mine that night, it'll save you paying for accomodation and food anyway.

I cannot wait! It will be awesome seeing some of these really quick cars there as well! i really want to see a wheel stand!

unfortunately i took boris off the road for a long awaited rest and she wont be back on the road for at least 4 - 6 years (i'm gonna be methodical on the resto lol)
i'll see how things go might be able to come down for a looksee, best case option i'll get my way with the husbands work bus and fill up the engine bay, dunno what holden were thinking with a 161 in a HT, needs somethin BIGGER lol

I have had a reply from Heathcote park.

The day is booked and confirmed, our time slot is 11Am - 4pm.

Ive asked about the costs and requirements for the cars and licencing ( for heath ) and i'll let you know as soon as i find out!

SSHatch,getting off the boat at 7:00am should see you in Heathcote by 11:00... easily, even after dropping off the missus and negotiating your way out of the CBD.
Once you get to the Northern Subs (Campbellfield) it's about 1.5 hrs easy cruising.

This year some of us met at the Campbellfield K-mart (has a huge carpark, easy to find) and I'd guess we'll do the same next year.

As the day nears us, we can organise all that again.
You won't be left out... mobiles are handy aren't they....?

You'll love it, you'll be rapt you made the effort and you'll be able to put faces to all those usernames you see!

Speaking of which, Hey Tiny, do you reckon your sticker mate could run off some username stickers to go across the windscreen about the size of the small GMH-T stickers?
Plain white, everyone can be ID'd then...
Small cost each?

Any thoughts people?

i know i can head down to the local Carribean Markets, and get stickers made up, i think i just supply the file and they print off a vinyl sticker... has to be one colour i suppose
