hi guys, does the intermittant wiper control switch on the uc dash need a control box to operate or can it just be intergrated into the older lx type loom.

It comes with a bosch module.
To connect the the unit gets put in the low speed(i think) wire to the existing wiper motor(its the white wire on the UC), cut the wire and join each end to the two white wires of the control box. The yellow goes to the accessories.

The orientation of the white wires from the control box matters too. Cut the white wire from the original windscreen wiper switch (LH/LX as well as UC). The long wire needs to go to the wiper motor end of the cut white wire, and the short one goes to the switch end.

If you use the same type of connectors as the intermittent control unit on the cut white wire, you can also easily bypass the intermittent control unit if it fails, or if you are testing it.
