I reckon that they'd look alright, but I'm a bigger fan than most of modern wheels on old cars...

Damn that's nice, makes me miss my old LC. An idea for wheels, how about a set of '16-'17 Simmons FR's? They aren't that common on LC-LJ's and would really suit the modern interior but still have a classy, classic look.

Justin: I'm fairly sure it's Devil Yellow (New Monaro colour)

Panther, having been a passenger in this car I can say that unless you've had both legs amputated at the hip, don't expect to be comfortable in the back :P

devil yellow new monaro colour ( not sunshine yellow like my girlfriend reckons!)

rear seat is HUGE! can run 4 people in it just needs adjustment from how i drive. im 6'1 so i have to have the seat all the way back. ive had 4 people in it on a few cruises or on the way back from the pub! mainly its just me and my girlfriend cruising. the rear seat is comfy as just tight

what photos do you want panthervs?

ps. rim its not about comfort only style

I never said it wasn't about style, mate :spoton: I just remember that with you (6'1") and me (6'1") in the front, with my mate (6'3") in the back, she was pretty snug :P

Hey Dickie,

How did you go about mounting the seats to the floor? did you use the original torana rails?

Im thinking along this same sort of line for a retrim in the future, but dont like the idea of engineering seats.

to be a pain, do you have any shots of how you attached the rails?

did you re-drill the mounting holes in the torana rails to suit the position of the bolts in the seats? Ive got a VT acclaim leco seat at home that im pulling the bits out of, i might have me a play!

i can get photos if you like. the seats are highly modified statesman seats done by a motor trimmer. i think the seats were 'sleaved' over the original seats

Anything that is advertised as an aftermarket "Torana wheel" should have a different offset for the rear... These wheels look the same front to back; just a generic set of wheels
