Hey guys i was wondering what factory options came out to suit either a LX or LH that are better than standard sl seats? Do they have the same seat track as a HQ? I was thing non adjustable saas buckets!

I am using VH commodore seats in my torana. I am going to make up a bracket for them to sit on so I do not have to drill new holes into the floor.

Cordia/Cordia Turbo, older style Supra, even Mitsu' Scorpion seats are comfy
and fit well, with lots of adjustment. If your car is a hatch, they also flip forward.

All pretty cheap.

yeah, if you can find a seat that fits and you are willing to do a bit of work, you can make them fit. I am going to put some Carerra racing seats in my hatch soon, just have to attach my Torana Rails to the bottom and they will fit.

flamenco has VX SS seats in his Hatch, and they look sexy as!

Get whatever you find the most comfortable (and best looking if you don't want to retrim), that you can have a look over and conclude that is a well made bit of equipment (no places where you expect there would be a common fatigue failure etc), and don't get something too big either, because any seat looks bigger when you put it in a Torana.

Pay attention to those factors, and go wild. :D

Actually, a friend of mine with a back problem made a list of seats that he finds are all fantastic... And as I just found it, I thought I'd post that too.

Mitsubishi Cordia GSR seats
Mitsubishi Starion seats (they are leather in early models. I do have fames but they need complete rebuilding)
Porsche seats (83ish era)
1985-86 Supra seats are brillant and have 4 ways of adjustment very comfortable (but most will need rebuilding now)
1992 Suzuki Swift GTi
1986-89 Telstra TX5 or Mazda 626 Hatch seats
1994-96 Prelude seats
1994ish WRX seats
Mitsubishi GTO seats (rare apparantly)
Mitsubsihi FTO seats 1996 model
Mitsubishi EVO IV
Holden WH Statesman (fully electric) in velour

Enjoy ;)
