Hi all I am, I am currently looking for any interest in drop tanks. I have made a few tanks for people and looking for some more business. Reasonably priced approx starting price $300, depending on the capacity required finish and fittings. All tanks will be pressure tested to a little over 100 psi to ensure no leaks in the welds. If you are interested send me an E-mail to [email protected]

Sorry for being a little vague in the ad. I was unsure of the interest of these items. Photos of the tanks will be posted in the next day or so. Prices will again depend on the size etc. I am located just out of Brisbane. All size tanks will be available from 30 lts to 120lts, other sizes will be considered (folder I have is only four foot wide, so I am limited to small items). Also have a small amount of carbon and fibre glass to carry out other mods.

Any queries E-mail me your requests and we will see what we can come up with.

Cheers Andrew

Matt
Can arrange freight across Aus or if you wanted your own freight that would be fine too. I would use Certified mail to cover any possible damage. So the price and receipts would reflect this.

The Brown-Davis tanks are only $1030. Best looking tanks Ive seen for a while, no daggy straps, bolt in type. Ph. 03 9762 8722. The original group c style.

On the drop tanks, must agree with rocket,brown/davis tank looks far better than others, replicates race car tanks. Cheers Paul. Local: Sun. coast qld. (form.melb.)

Yes the Brown Davis tanks look the part.
But to fit them, the tank mount brackets under the rear beaver have to be removed.
Do you want to cut up your SS/SLR?

350 lx, i think you will sell a heap on here.
Beats me how you can make them so cheap, when i'me paying $150 for the alloy sheet alone.

Hi Coolngroovy. There's a way around that, just space the tank down a bit off the rails,(alloy or steel, blocks ,dowles),to provide clearance. This drops the tank down, & reducers ground clearance though, looks good! If thats a problem you can weld a skid plate underneath & up the back, folded neatly & out of thicker alloy(4 to 5mm).I have done this succesfully in the past.(forgot about the mounts untill you metioned it though).Or you could possibly order/mod. tank with longer mounts.Could forum member build to spec.(brown/davis,long mounts),I would be int.

It would be easier to build recesses in the tank.
But it would still need to be 'bolt in'.
My cousin just bought his Brown Davis. It set him back $1800.
Bloody nice tank though!
