Steve,

we dont.....

Rares does changeover i believe, or new ones, they are about $200, the problem with them is they are heat welded and also most are soft.

So basically would need to rebuild them, for the cost you might aswell get the rares ones, theres allways some on ebay ..you could try there also

Whats wrong with them being soft?

Most of the ones on ebay are the wrong type. the LC/J ones are different to the LH/X ones.

when they are soft they are hard to cover, you make a cover for them like a sock..put it on then the visor folds because of the softness.

If you make the cover loose then that looks like shite, so yeah cant win either way.

the lh/x and hj-wb ones are good to cover as they are hard and dont flex and fold when you make a slip cover for them.

If you not in a hurry i will investigate it, i can get one to play around with and see what we can come up with.

Your not the first to ask and probably wont be the last, we have done them in the past and wasnt happy with the result which is why we say try the rares spares avenue.

the cost of our would be around the $70-100 mark and it wouldnt be original as original had the welded join, so if someone's got say a $50k car they not really going to be fussed spending $200 odd on original style ones

I'm not in a hurry. Its just a pain cause there is nothing much available. I've tried wreakers, even my parts car has a LH/X one on the drivers side.

I assume the strange shape of the LC/J ones don't make them easy to make.

Currently I try and remember to take a cap with me in the car for those times i need a sunvisor.... :fool:

Boomfunk, can you supply the gold carpets as used in LC/LJs with antique gold trim? It's quite a bit 'golder' than any of the available carpet colours that I have seen. If so, how much to supply and deliver to Adelaide?

Cheers,

the only moulded loop ones we have are the buckskin...we have full on gold but thats per meter on a roll... like realy good quality carpet but not much use especially being plush.

I am afraid i cant really help you there, only the buckskin, i will ask around as i have another contact who is a carpet moulder in sydney and he maybe able to get a different shade...dont hold your breath but, its a long shot
