help ASAP on distributor ( tonight)

hey I am looking at buying a new distributor for my UC I have an old bosh elec dizzy from a commy right now and I have found a "Mallory Dual point" Dizzy but its not elec its points etc

I am wanting to now if it will out proform my old bosh elec one or will I be taking a backwards step. The catch is if I want it I have to get in early tomorrow or i miss out Its brand new and only $100 any one with advice would be great

I will be runnig a MSD 6a in the next 6 months if it makes a difference

Stick with the electronic. Twin points were made to increase the saturation or "build up" time for the coil for increased spark voltage. Comm. electronic achieves the same result with less maintenance.

As above, elect dizzy is a step in the right direction. One set of points used to be bad enough, why would you want to double the frustration?

Stick with the Commodore Electronic ignition. Re the MSD 6a, unless you're running a very modified motor, I doubt that you'd gain any advantage over the stock Commodore electronic distributor and coil.
