The ones i'm aware of (saw one very recently) didn't have chassis numbers as not built in the normal way. I'll PM you the details when I get a chance.

Thats strange, the the Le Mans shells I have seen in person and both had chassis numbers, very late ones at that.

Bob Jane had 2. The first one was extremely light built for sports sedans but he ran it as a touring car. This was the second shell he got but then he pulled out of racing and it was never used.

The two Bob Forbes ones are much later than this one.

Red, the first Bob Jane car, I assume is the one Garry Rogers destroyed at Amaroo? I remember that this wasn't an A9X but an SS, and it was A9X'ed by GMH?

It was a bare shell, specifically built for Bob Jane as he was going to use it to replace the Monaro, not an SS or an A9X. Returned to the factory as a shell and modified to A9X specs.

I assume its in the white still like the Ad ??????

$400,000 might not be out of the ballpark as the last few A9X Hatch's have sold as quick as they have been put up for sale.

The Barry Seton one lives in Canberra, and I'm sure he's not selling.

I'm sure that it's not the Barry Seton car. Still has the white bonnet and is in Perth. 680 kays on the clock. The guy who owns it has a lot of special Toranas.

Its one of the spare un-raced GMPH shells Barry Seton had, REDA9X knows the car, all white like the pic above with slate interior. Its road registered, and driven lightly.

How many GMPA shells are out there in total?

There's one in Mackay.

That white one Shiney looks like the race car Bowdens sold a few years ago.

White sills, bonnet scoop is correct and or our rego no side exhaust. Does look a lot like it. Was at the display at Torana Nationals here in Canberra the other week, a lot of guys here on the forums would have seen it and the paperwork on the dash. It has the GMPA body tag on it.

The one in Perth has the white sills, window frames and bonnet, the same as the one in the newspaper ad above, but has painted bumpers like the bottom one. The Perth car also has gold Simmons wheels on it, like the brand new one that Street Machine gave away, however I know that this is not the Street Machine car as I was looking at that one not long ago. (It's in Perth as well.)

The Wilson A9X was restored to race trim with a CAMS CofD and sold a couple of years back.

Yep, that's the one Craig. I believe P.S. is on the prowl for some other rarity and wants to sell this one to fund the purchase.

That one was the non-raced sister car to Jansen/ Perkin's A9X.. Nice car but the old man could use it for anything so sold she was.

The Firth car was much more enjoyable;)
