Digging around in the garage I came across some
old bits I had lying around from my old XU1 days.

Not sure if it is Bathurst XU1 fan blade or not.

Did they come off a particular year model?

Cheers Louie

Hi

Can someone with the LC parts catalogue post the XU-1 fan part number please?

I will compare the number with the LJ XU-1 fan (which is different to the other LJ 6s).

2816157

Thanks gong.

That's a different number to the standard LJ XU-1 fan which is P/N 2823424.

As a matter of interest - P/N 2823424 is also the standard 6 cylinder LX fan (so probably LH also).

The '73 Bathurst fan is P/N 9934058.

Is P/N 2816157 the same for all LC 6 cylinders?

Doesn't the XU1 & some GTR fan blades also have the trailing edge of the blade "notched" to clear the harmonic balancer retaining plate ??

That's what i have noticed on the cars that i have worked on.

There are 2 other part numbers for the sixes:

2250, 2600 (not S), 2850 (not S) 2808186; and

2600S, 2850S 2810488.

P/N 2808186 is also correct for the LJ 2250 and 2850.

P/N 2810488 is also correct for the standard LJ 3300.

All in all it looks like the "rarest" fans would be:

The LC XU-1 .... P/N 2816157

and

The '73 Bathurst XU-1 .........P/N 9934058

All the other fans are found on a number of other Series and Models.

to answer a good question by" toranamuk",the only xu1 to have the cutaways on the trailing edge of the fan is the bathurst 73/'150', to clear the damper plate retainer bolt heads.afaik no other xu1s were fitted with this setup.cheers daz :spoton: :D

73 Bathurst only, unless it is an aftermarket job, the knotches clear the bolts for the Harmonic balancer spin off plate. Sunburst
