i agree , i prefer calder to heathcote


heathcote is a great track for the street car boys but the problem is it has a 1 to 2 inch drop at the end of the 60 ft concrete onto the pave which unsettles anything with good horsepower ..

wonder whether they will prep the track with VHT this time ..

I wont be able to make it :P as much as i WANT to, were just not going to have the cash!

I made teh trip down this year even though i was going to the US, but not this one! Sorry!!

If thats the only free date then book it, dont hang around as they get pretty busy!

830: i guess we can ask them, and tell them that your definitely going to be there and require it.. I wonder if they would charge more for it? Also would there be any other heavy hitters you could invite along to make the track prep more worthwhile for them?

By all means enquire at calder too, but heathcote was by far the easier and more friendly place for us previously!

Best of luck and now comes the fun part to those who are organising!

I will let Heathcote raceway know we would like to book venue on the 15th march 2008. I will have to get my backside into gear and get my car ready.

Date booked for 15th of March 2008 so keep it free everyone. Given that there is 4 odd months before event, no excuss for not getting your weapon of choice ready. Has been a fantastic day in the past and well worth it weather you are racing or spectating. I was a spectator last year as engine in my car let go a month before event but will be racing this time. Racing is from 11am to 4pm. Current list as follows:

Rowville is right near me, and it takes me about 2hours to get to heathcote i think...

HEHEHE Yesssss im in for sure!! Should pull a respectable time this time round :D. My mate with a nearing completion immaculate ground up rebuild of a ford 'breeze' coloured LH will be there, will have a worked 253 :D. My gas research 202 shall be blown by then (hopefully) :spoton: :rockon:
