so that means HQ discs will bolt straight on to LJ disc brake stub axles?
and with machining 6mm off the diameter will allow HQ calipers to bolt up to the LJ stubs too??
or do i need an adaptor plate of some sort to bolt the calipers to the stubs

On the LX a tad of grinding is required onthe rear of the caliper, just a few mm and aslo one has to grind the pads a touch too.
This mod is very effective and doesn't cost the earth either.
These were modded before I purchased the car.

You may find these have extra value in the fact that they do not upset steering geometry (as far as I know) nor bump steer or turning circle etc.
The low cost factor is a bonus!

The conversion like herne may use a combo of HQ piston and LH/LX caliper bracket.
You still need to turn down the disc to fit.
Better chase rorym for the specs.

Disc needs to be turned down 10mm so I was told. You still need to turn down the disc to fit.
Better chase rorym for the specs.
If Struggler says 6mm then I would go with that.
