Hi mate im also in thr process of trying to find and pics of a LH Slr5000 we have that was draged there in the 80,s but dont know where to start searching for info, Good luck

If you can give me more specific dates , as i have all drag news from the 70/s on i have the 70/s here in my computer room ,but 80/s i have stored , Trex

I have a bunch of old pics in an old photo album at Dad's from his racing days. Most are of his Altered but quite a few others. Is there a particular car you are looking for? I havent scanned any of the pics cause getting them out of the old acid/glue backed album pages from the 70's will stuff the pics.
If you've got 70's stuff, could you look for pics of an Altered named "The Shaft" between '74 & '78? Owners Paul Case, Gary Oakes & John Fitzgerald. Colour was forest/bottle green. Dad made the final at the '75 Winternats at Surfers so might be in a Winternats set of pics maybe?
Also any pics of an Anglia named "The Wanderer". Owner was John Boyle and its been raced from 80's (well that I can remember) to a year or two ago. Many colour changes so that wont be any help to you Im sorry.

I think you'll find John Boyles old Anglia is still being raced by it's current owner (Stuart McLaughlin), still in it's yellow with flamed paint work, running in either super sedan or super gas.

Thanks for the pic
Will show John Was a sad day when I heard he sold it, Dad crewed for John when I was little (was bronze/brown back then I think) then when John's daughters grew up they crewed for their dad and I used to help out as well. Fun times
