hi guys,
I had my slr5000 there and it was a sensational turn out I would back 3000 cars, One of the officials there told me it was the biggest car show in the southern hemisphere which is a big statement but then it is a big show.
One thing I learnt is that my car is pretty rare really, as all of the SLR5000's that were there, were look alikes/mock ups but then there were one or two that did not have the ID plates viewable so they may have been genuine SLR5000 but they were modified cars which still makes mine rare I suppose. That aside mock up's or not they were magnificent cars and I loved having a look at all the toranas.
I even met some forum members when I heard one say I think this is Duck05's car and that in itself was a bit of a highlite for me. So hope to see you all there next year. :spoton:

Regards
Duck05

On that note, could someone post photos of Philip Island? I've got heaps of mates that went down there but no one has any snaps.

See the thread Shannons Historic Touring Cars, some good photos by wingnut there
