i cant see it, but i assume its been removed, if it was that good of a bargin the owner would be harrassed day and night for the next week.

i saw a 253 LX SS hatch in 'avg cond' in the paper 1year ago, i rang up at 9:30am and he said it was sold, and i was about the 50th caller.

the sale price, 3,000 ono.

I just had a call from the seller, the sale went through!! they said they will be happy with around $18500, but I have since found out that it is a L32 not L31......but still......

All depends on how much you're willing to pay. I don't think I'd spend more than $5K on a hatch. And if I can't get one that cheap, then I don't buy a hatch at all.

i looked at it & was very impressed with the body shell cleanest shell i've seen in a long time not much rust at all.The only thing bad about it was non original motor & not 1 but 2 police numbers been stolen in its time.It sold for $21,000 went to canberra...

I paid $7500 for my hatch. Ridgy 253 SL, 2 owners, all paper work/books from new. 97000kms. No rust just trolley dings. They do turn up. :spoton:

sounds exactly like mine fine69 expect i paided $8000 for mine. It has 118000km and came with a whole set of orignal holden replacement panels expect the nose cone which i have since bought for $400. I guess they do turn up like u said
