Hey everyone,

Just to let people know the Vic Torana club along with other Holden car clubs in Vic are doing their annual toy run. It ends in Loch. Its on the 4th of December.

This is a great event that is well enjoyed year after year. The idea of the event is a relaxed cruise with a BBQ at the end a Holden lion running around entertaining the kids.
Basically we all fill up our cars with new and used toys. Place them in front of our cars as a display and then donate them to the smiths family for those kids and families that have pretty much nothing at Christmas. All it will cost u is the fuel to get there and home and for the BBQ lunch but its well worth it!!!
If you need any more info your more then welcome to PM myself.
Hopefully we can get a good turn out once again this year.

Cheers

Oh and I forgot to mention anyone that comes along and decides to act like a nob your rego will be reported as we dont want irresponsible people giving the club a bad name.

Thanks

On that note, if people have too many or not enough toys, the club may be able to arrange something because we all have space in our cars, or are sometimes offered truckloads of toys, i know it sound ridiculous but sometimes we actually need more people to carry all the toys we bring.

The Torana club are officially meeting at the Cranbourne meeting point which I believe is at 10-10.20. However the departure time for the Fishermans Bend departure is 9.30 so if you want to leave there get there before that time.

Starting Point- Holden Plant in Port Melbourne (Cook Street entrance) Melways Ref: 171 E-F, 6-7
Leaving at 9.00am
Cruising down South Eastern Freeway to Cranbourne (MUST purchase a City Link Pass)

That's all I got and it doesn't tell me any more information about the actual meeting points that we mentioned but hopefully it can help you out.
