I'm surprised no one has mentioned "MADTOY" yet.

I dont have any pics of it, but i know the owner and he's a great guy, and the car is amazing!

Infact... I havent had enough of hatch backs related to wedding photos, so he's kindly taking us out when we get some sydney pictures taken with the monaro shortly!

Keep your eyes peeled for some pics soon :)

Of course A9X's hatch is close to my heart too, What a weapon! (Oh the SOUND!!!)

Saw this a few years ago and loved the number plate
Posted Image

Yes the plates are good but the angled installation of that front flare just kills it for me.

Isn't MADTOY a sedan? Or am I thinking of MADTOZ?

MADTOY is a blue one i think, from a magazine a few years back now.

MADTOZ is the green sedan... I thought the same thing at first read. lol

Nice car that one - nearly bought it a while ago.

do you or anyone for that matter no what happened to it? They were chasing 30k'ish for it years ago and that was on the very upper fringe of the market back then. It would be great to see some pics of it.

for me it was the best looking flairless hatch I have seen.

cheers
jim

My Hatch looks a little sheepish in all this company  Stocko SL Hatch 308, I couldnt get myself to add flares, the body was to nice... and besides I have another LX Hatch project which has flares so I have the best of both worlds. :D

Bowden family took their Brock 78 car over last year, perhaps this is what you are talking about?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=C5tS8OmUMZY

no!!!! i got that story in AMC

theres an 05 hdt hatch in the goodwood musuem.

i spent hours trying to find a source, sent emails to various places

gong to have to watch speedweek and rpm before the next festival at goodwood to see if they re run the piece tht clearly shows this hatch and its story.

the story was played twice last year so...............
