$320.00 seems a bit much, could have done them for $232.00pr.

They are a little firm (at least to the old worn out shocks on the car before, haha) but a nice controlled feeling while driving it around.

Hi guys, i have a pair of Koni front shocks to suit lx. i bought them about 2 years ago they were second hand but never used. its now come time to use them. i got them out of the box stretched them open and compressed them a couple of times, but they dont want to open out on there own. is there something you need to do before use or they are just stuffed?

Not all are gas-filled, being Konis they probably aren't. As long as they provide resistance in both directions (particularly rebound) and they both offer the same resistance then they should be good to go.

Yep agree. Just fitted my new ones yesterday and they don't automatically come out after being compressed. They work fine once they are in.

Ditch the konis buy bilsteins.
Koni need to revisit development and some modern day valving.
Or if you can do some part no. Matching you can get some jri, qa1's from the states as camaro run the same length shocks.
One camaro model hs same fronts another has same rears, im not sure which models.

67 to 69 camaro has same front length as LH/LX and the rear is same length as VS wagon

vpw has viking smooth body GM pack for a thousand

VIK-VSK203

but not sure how thick the shock body is and if it will fit in the rear

The qa1's are similar size to a koni 5211 which is larger dia than your normal koni reds.
They cant be fitted through the hole in lower wishbone, with some relief in lower arm for the dog bone they can be made to fit from the top when spring is fitted.
I cant remeber the models and numbers was a while ago when i worked it out.

Or is there koni yellows?
