Got my car Dyno Tuned tonight by Eric at Goodguys! Only gain 1.2rwkw

Any clues on what the power was?

If my car has been on the dyno by this date, Im in. I am waiting on the tuner to get his dyno back in the ground but he tells me it will be going in 2 weeks. I have also found some other minor gains since last time at the track and I'm very keen to get my car in the 13's. Don't add my name to list yet as it seems everytime I add my name, I have to remove it for one reason or another.

I would love to crack a high 13... But a low 14 would be just as good for the moment... If i can get a few really solid runs where the car just works i will be more than happy

^^ Yep, What he said... Stroked 253, it has an offset ground crank that bring its out to just under 290ci...

big sigh of relief today! After thinking the worst a rocker bolt had broken!! Buy the best rollers i could (platinum shaft rollers yella terra) n the bolt snapped :( Anyway order some ARP ones n hopefully all fixed! The top of the bolt was gettin thrown around in the rocker cover every so ofter causin an occasional knock noise n felt like it was runnin on seven! All good hopefully! N yes matt the car feel very very strong strongest it has ever! So cant wait to race it!! might be on street tyres thou which will make it fun!!

Just spent some good money strenghning the bottom end and putting on some shiny bits and a tweak or two to the heads and was looking forward to racing with you guys. havnt been out racing since 2006.

Alas as usual get told we have a tight ass sunday wedding to go to. :cry:

So better scrub me off the list :furious:

Ohhh man this is ever so tempting!! I work on sundays, hehe...usually, but if i can arrange something (ie a dipping bird) then ill be right to go!
YT head and roller rockers will now surely get me well into the 16s

Sounding good guys! Hoping we get good weather! Its a month away now! Hopefully petrol prices can drop a bit more for us so its not too expensive to head up there!!!

Still hoping to get along on the 24th! But have a few things to do on the Torry, and No time to do it! If the car isnt ready though i might take the ute up for a Spectate and watch STEVO get a 9.99!!!!

I went to Calder one night in May this year and there was 230 odd cars there to race so it was not a good night from a drivers point of view. My car is booked to go on the rollers next Wednesday so hopefully be ready to race on the 24th.

HAHA! I reckon they would be pretty similar! (Although the ute would run faster now, the Torry hasnt had a good run yet)

I dont really want to race if there is going to be HEAPS of people there... I know the guys that went in that time in May only got like 1-2 runs in for the whole day!

I got there early so I was lucky to get 4 runs in. At one stage, I ran my third run, drove back around and lined up straight away and ended up waiting 2 hours to get my forth run.
