have the lc headlight rims been made ?

The samples LC headlamp rims are about 6 - 8 months away samples of the LJ Headlight & Taillight are due Mid Jan early Feb

I'm keen for a set or two of front and rear lc. I could even grab same for the lj. I'd also be very interested in an lc grill if you would make them too. I know this thread is getting on, but I'm glad I found it. Please keep posted on the lc gear.

Definitely LC headlight surrounds. They are a bit more complicated and harder to fix than LJ.

We are expecting samples to be sent next week if they test ok we will start production soon after

I can't beleive a part that is so demanding in both models and yet has not been re made before other parts.
Will be so glad when you can go and buy theses off the shelf.

If you need some have a look at my thread in "parts for sale" - "Restored Lj headlight surrounds". I can sell you a set outright or repair your existing ones. Prices may vary with each set, depending on what repairs have been made. I've got 5 sets of taillight surrounds waiting for me to repair, I'll let people know when I've got some ready.

Hi Jdjl James, it would be great if you could do a write-up on how you fix these parts. Us members on a budget could use some tips on how it's done. I realise you'll be worried about loosing business but we're all here to help each other. If we do it ourselves it won't look as good as yours but we can be proud with what we have achieved. Love to see some pics of tools you use and what finish you ask for at the platers. Thanks. Marty
