I think you have to change the skin to the default IPB one to add a few quotes.

There is a James Bond film, (Roger Moore one I think it is "The Man with the Golden Gun") shot I think in Hong Kong, it has heaps of Toranas and a few other holdens as well.

the best aussie car move is 1977 "the FJ holden" a few toranas (when they were just released)
, monaros, vals.

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=rzHDZ8vS2tk

Funniest part is when the blokes FJ smokes the V8 monaro in some old school illegal P-plater dragracing! You have to see this movie!

Gary,
If you look here it gives the credits for the movie called "Not quite Hollywood".
http://thecia.com.au...ction-notes.pdf

It lists where the clips came from but the rest will take research. :D

Part of what I read while searching mentioned that "Not quite Hollywood" contained a lot of footage not actually used in movies, in other words, cut.

Search is over fella's. After two hours of trawling through the internet the title of the film with Black LX with TOE 023 plates is "Run Chrissie Run" IMDB Link Here It is also known at Moving Targets and Reunion. Have a look at the names of the characters for confirmation as there is a character called Toe. Interestingly enough, one of the actors is Red Symons.

I cant find much more infor regarding this film accept is was filmed in SA, was a VHS release and the SA Film Corp had a bit to do with it. I will keep searching though, something mat pop up.

Cheers,

T

I spent a couple of hours the other night searching that list. :<_<:

Who would have thought a title like "Run Chrissie run" would have had such a tough car in it?
I was looking more at the Mad Max type of thing. :fool:

Nice work T

My friend was in that movie when we were kids,he played "David" the little blonde headed 5 year old.Geez,im 37 now and we were the same age then.Im sure his mum had to take him to Panania every day for filming.Thats what my auntie told me as i dont remember. And im sure that was "Brickies" in Homebush, where the drags took place. This movie and "Running On Empty" both trashed Monaros.

Has anyone noticed the blue LJ on the Led Zepplin DVD? It's a brief glimpse of the car at the 1973 Sydney Showground concert.
