Big T,
The DVD is titled Led Zepplin, it's a boxed 2 DVD set released in (I think) 2006 by Warner Vision. It's footage of live concerts, mainly Madison Square Garden and the Royal Albert Hall. The Torana is shown at the beginning of the Immigrant Song at Sydney Showground.

What was left of that torana went on ebay and it looked fairly sad.

It was actually left hanging over a wall lol Told the the council they could have the wreck and sell it :)
Danny said it would have taken a fork lift at the very least to recover it!!!

The rights to the movie have been bought by channel 9 ( I think its 9 ) it is and should be on TV late this year.

in the early years of home and away there was a slr 5000.
If memory serves me correct the character "roo" was being hassled at night by some "yobbo's" who had the torana.
the character "adam" came to her rescue and jumped in there torana.
this was the character adams introduction to that show.


Knew I'd seen this mentioned here somewhere... just happened yesterday to be so incredibly bored enough to be watching the Home and Away "the early years" and just so happened to be this episode... Looked like it was a nice car (although hard to dell being a night scene) it had personalised plated pretty sure they said DEADLY

There was a blue LH/LX on McLeod's daughters.

One of the girls was going out with the bloke that owned it.

I'm pretty sure he crashed it.

Saw one a while ago onna essa be eassa but didn't get the name
Looked it up today and found it after a fair bit of a search -- Film is called "Australian rules" and has an alternative name "Deadly Unna"
Set in a small fishing town and the black fella's from out the mission drive round in a red LX/H

Tried to find some you tuby thing about it but no luck so if any one wants to look further here's all i have on it

Home and Away TV Show had Lance Smart on it and he won lotto on the show and he Bought a Gold XR-XT GT Supercharged Falcon,some time after he bought the Gold Falcon some guys showed up cruzen the Bay in a Red SS Torana Hatchback i think they use to try and drag Lance,this was from around the 1988-1989 time frame,both cars were in car magazines back in that time frame.

watch movie called 'The Loved Ones'.. 2009 Australian horror comedy film has a nice torana in it, it shows one quite a bit..

I watched Mad Max 2 the other night and Max drives a truck through an LC/LJ towards the end of the movie.

In here at about 47 seconds.


Not the best clip but it shows the Torrie clearly.

I just watched 'The Loved Ones' OMG that is one demented film. Highly recommend it.

Oh and it has three toranas in it.

In 'Metal Skin' (mid 90's aussie flick) there was a sweeeet red LH/X? Number plate SEXY LH or something.

Also in mad max 2 i reckon i once noticed a stuffed lc/lj, missing panels etc..
