Hello
I have an LX thats getting converted to manual
As it has the auto accelerator/brake pedals can I just add the clutch pedal to them or do I actually still need to buy a manual accelerator/brake setup?

As far as I know, and thats not much, but the brake and clutch pedal are the same size in a manual, therefore a new manual pedal setup will be needed, not to mention a ratrap etc etc

The auto brake pedal is wider than the manual brake pedal.
I havnt measured the gap but the auto brake pedal may conflict with the new clutch pedal.

You will need a 'manual' brake pedal. The auto one will be too big.

Simply cut the excess metal off the auto brake pedal with a grinder.
Then refit the rubber pad from a manual or clutch pedal! Simple!

Replace the foot park brake with a hand brake and there should be heaps of room.
no need to change the brake pedal

Geez i'll have to check size of it when I get the car out of the garage next!
Not much room to move around in there and last time I tried something (put rear seats in) with it in the garage took a nice of new paint off :( lucky you can only see it when the door is open at least
