Ok Guys,

We have just 47 Days until Dragday!

So far we have 15 racers from the forums heading up. (12 Toranas!)

Lets try and get as many torry's up there as we can! If we can get heaps then we are more of a chance of getting to hire the track next time all to ourselves!

If we are inviting friends up, we need to get them to say that they are with the torana group... Just to give them an idea that its because of us those people are with us...

Its going to be a great day! If you have been wanting to come on a Forum event and meet a heap of new members. Now is your chance!

Heathcote is a great place for First time racers. They are really tolerant and help you learn what is going on!

Even if you just bring up your daily to see what it can do on the track. Its an absolute great day and is so much fun!

Joanne from Heathcote contacted me again, and said she will be in contact with me a little bit closer to the day. So we might be able to organise to have part of the pits sectioned off for us so we can kinda all be together and know who each other are!

I'll probably be trailering my car up, So i can run without the exhaust and make lots of noise! LOL! I'll also prep the car a bit more so its set up for the drags! LOL! FUN FUN!

Just 40 Days to go now!

I dont think it can be hotter than last year Kev!

If it is going to be as Hot as last year, i say we postpone the event to the next race meet up there... No one wants to race in 40+ degree heat... But i'll keep my eyes on it

We will have an Idea on the Temp about 7 days out from the Date.

What is people's cut off temp?

Anything over 32-33 starts putting track temps pretty high... (Remember Vapour lock fellas?) LOL.

The next two dates are the 13th (Friday), Friday the 27th or April 5th (Sunday)

Lets just play it by ear and see what the lookout is like.

By the looks of it, we will have a reasonably small contingent! That's ok, it will be nice and intimate! We will get to meet other members who we haven't met before!

(But in Melbourne it says rain is a high possibility) But as some would know... The rain clouds never cross the great divide and make it to Heathcote/Bendigo!

Lets hope we get a few more Torana's to come along, if we dont. We will struggle to be able to book the track for next time.... Anyway, lets hope no other clubs are planning to run on the same day, so we have the track mostly to ourselves and we can all run PB's!!!

I'm aiming for a low 14 and to also pull a better skid off the start line! LOL! What are others aiming for?
