Hi Guys,
I'm in a bit of a pickle. I cant find the accessory wire on my hatch! I always thought the wire would come from the radio fuse, but on mine it is just the ignition wire. It is a hassle as i can not listen to my stereo when the car is off because if i keep it on ignition, the points will just eventually burn out.
Im changing steering wheels today (picked up a gts monaro one for $150!!) so should i check the wiring loom in the steering column?
Cheers

Have you tried switching the ignition switch back past the lock position.
ie: Switch off and then back to lock and then continue turning the key further around to the accessories position.
This doesnt turn on the ignition, just the accessories!
Sounds like you have it wired ok, mine is the same, as soon as you switch off the engine everything stops!!

Thanks for that!
Something I never knew.
Now boy can listen to UUUUUNCE! UUUUUNCE! in his hatch and I won't have to worry about the points and coil having a Chernoble.
