Despite going for a huge walk yesterday and Mellisa downing a litre of castor oil, Wesley refused to greet the world today (maybe she should have drank Castrol Oil instead?). This gave me an hour or two to come out this arvo and have a gander at the display. By the time I got there (around 1:30pm) most had called it a day and gone home. Cant blame them, it was a stinker of a day. I still managed to catch up with a few people and take some photos.

Many thanks to those from QTCC and GMH-Torana.com.au who participated, especially with such short notice. Alan was very pleased with the turn out and it looks like he will organise another display next year in August when the weather is a bit less extreme. I believe Ray won the lucky door prize? Good onya mate !!

Anyway, here are a few more photos for your viewing pleasure.

Stay Cool,

Big T

yeah it was a good turnout today, I was impressed

only problem is I got some nasty looking sunburn, I really should be more carefull of that big hot thing in the sky.

Seeing all those Toranas together makes me want to get back into one, I might get mine going again one day

Thanks Big T, youve done well, at short notice, good day had by all, I would say. Was great to meet some of the members, and check out their fine machines.

Well done and a big thanks to qtcc and to Alan and Matt from the diecast model shop for hosting us. It was a great turnout on such short notice, and there was plenty of fine cars out there. And a good range too. My mates were blown away by the cars in attendance, they loved it. I had a great day too apart from the nasty sunburn i now wear. It was good to meet lots of people and put names to faces and have a good chat to some great ppl. Garth (fatslr) is very lucky this event was on just when he happened to be in bris.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks to all those who came along. It was good to meet some people and see some great cars. I'll post my shots up tonight most likely, so for those interested, they'll be online here. I hope everyone enjoyed the day, again, a big thanks to those who turned up. It wouldn't have worked without you.

We intend on having another meet in the future, but this time, with a bit more notice, hopefully we'll have the area sorted a little better to accommodate for more cars and a better day over-all.

I was impressed with the variation of the cars, it was excellent to see an unbiased diverse crowd!

Regards

-Matt

Looks like it was a good turn out. A good collection of diversity too. I'm sure the business owner would have been chuffed. :spoton:
