Hi, just thought that I would share a couple of photo's of my daughters year 6 graduation night. As none of my cars are on the road at the moment I asked a very good friend of mine if he could bring his torana and take my Princess to her formal. When I asked Nutboy if he could do this for me he checked his roster and saw that he was rostered on. But being a great bloke that he is he made sure he changed his roster so that he could help out. What makes this special is that he had to drive all the way to Bargo from Sydney and when he arrived he threw me the keys and said, "You take her". My opinion the best car on the night. These are what you call true friends.

Thanks Dom.

No worries Ruts. Nothing beats seeing a kids smile when they see their formal ride turn up. I remember my formal i got dropped off in a beat up HR. That wont happen to my kids they have a few rides to choose from.

I have to agree Nutboy, i have done a few over the years and its good to see how happy they are not only when you turn up but also when you see what a big deal it was for them to be taken in your ride, one of the rewards i guess of having a nice car.

Yeah I agree there must be something in the chickens these days, yes that is year 6 she is off to high school next year. When we got in the car we went the long way and while we were driving along I said to her, "Do you want dad to finish one of his cars so we can cruise around" and she said, "YES". Nutboy said that he has never seen his car be driven down the road before, I think it even impressed him. He had to pry the keys out of my hands when he was ready to leave. Sorry about the grumpy look on the face wifey took the picture when I wasn't ready. Dom, trust me I'll repay the favour when one of yours is ready for high school.

Nice one Dom!

These are the cars i grew up seeing around, and to have such top people who are willing to go out of their way to help out is just amazing.

I had a similar experience when we asked the owner of MADTOY if he would take us on our Sydney Wedding earlier this year, and he kindly obliged. Again it's great to have such top people around you that you can call mates!

Definitely a night to remeber, Well done Ruts and Lil-Ruts!

good stuff guys! :spoton:
youre not wrong about the smiles the kids get when they rock up in something cool. i recently took my girlfriends cousin to her yr10 formal in the gtr, and she now wants a torana, and so do half the boys in her year.
and nutboys car has to be one of the nicest toranas ive seen! the pic of it, rear quarter driving down the road (cant post it as i lost it), is bloody boner inducing!

These are the experiences that make an everlasting impression on the youngens. Well done Nutboy.

lcgtr1970 I am guessing this is the photo you are referring to. Phil did an awesome photo shoot with Nutboy's car and those photos he took on the move while hanging out the window of the camera car are my favourites. I have added a link to the full size version of the photo so you can add it back to your collection.
