This is my first time here for a chat and its really just out of curiosity.Does anyone have colour photos and information on the destiny of a white LC GTR that was tarted up for the Sydney Motor show in 1971?Wire wheels, whitewall tyres, white dash, white instument faces, floor covered in sheepskin, white vinyl seats, and the roof coated in SILVER OROTON FABRIC!!!Kinda like a glomesh handbag I think.Theres a couple of black and white shots of it in an old Australian Hotrod magazine I have.A real life factory pimpmobile.Could make for an interesting discussion.

An image appeared in AMC some time ago incorrectly calling it the Cala Zampatti Torana. Last I heard it was near Newcastle, whatever that means, with the roof completely rusted out. The story went that some guy saw it in the motor show and had to have it for their wife. GMH said it was not for sale. He pestered and pestered until they sold it to him. Problem was the roof was not sealed so it rusted out.
Love to hear any other versions.
