^ Aaaarrrggghh dude, you are not supposed to mention the four letter "R" word !!! :D

But seeing that it has now been said, this is the deal.

If we get there and it is pissing down with no chance of racing then the event is cancelled and we either get a refund or we can reschedule.

If it is ok to race and we all get three runs and then it rains, Willowbank deem that as recieving value for money so no refund or reschedule.

If it does rain (the forecast is for a shower or two) and it is only light rain then the track will be dried and we can continue.

The good news is that the forecasts are predicting a possiblity of showers but in the morning only. When it rains at Willowbank it really rains so hopefully if there is light shower it is not going to affect us too badly. Fingers crossed anyway.

Matt - I reckon I am going to be flat out all day. I hope I havnt bitten off more than I can chew but as the good man says in this situation "Chew like Hell" !!

Trophies arrived this morning ladies and gentleman. Below is what you will all be racing for :spoton:

Pete you should know by now that its not that they let them in the gate its as soon as there is a blue commodore on a trailer it rains maybe I might put a cover over it so it dosnet know whats on the trailer :surrenderwave:

Time for an enclosed trailer, sneak it up there and through the gates that way. I think the car cover would disappear once you hit the motorway.

Must say a huge thanks to Big T for organising the drag day. I have to say this is the most I have looked foward to heading to the drags in ages.

Depending how it all goes mate, there is always next year !!

Still dont know if mine will make it either, ah well, I can always race the Corolla (might have to remove the baby seat to reduce the weight a bit though).

Leave the baby seat mate, you'll need an excuse for your 28 second pass :tease:

Big T - What a damn Legend you are mate, THe organisation behind this is top class, and it will pay dividends mate, Everyone is going to have the time of their life!

I'm sure this day is going to go OFF like never before, and i hope you guys get 43 cars like we did at our first drag day in melbourne! That was a top day, and willowbank can only be as good or better!

Make sure you post up some times as they come, it'll be interesting to see and compare to Heathcote to see how the Banana Benders compare to the mexicans! ( do i hear the crowd go OOOoOOoOOOooOOooooo)

Once again thank you for your effort, I hope Mother nature is good to you all, you deserve a great day out!

Look forward to seeing the pictures :)

(And Cmon Sydney!!! Dont tell me we cant organise something of this calibre!!)

Cheers!
